Date of Birth: 3/2/1992
Position: Right and Left Midfield/Winger

Previous Clubs: Lewes, Brighton & Hove Albion, Farnborough, Bognor Regis Town, Kingstonian

Playing style: Arron is a winger blessed with pace, and has a direct approach at running at the defence, confident of beating players on their outside or inside. He has a fantastic left foot and capable of putting dangerous balls into the area. He is a very skilful player too with close control and is an important outlet for any side aiming to play with width and pace in their team or in a fast counter attack tactic.

Arron Hopkinson is a semi-professional footballer who plays in a wide right midfield position and is currently playing for Ryman Premier Division (Step 3) side Merstham. Arron is a young, hungry and talented wide man, who has previously spent time with Brighton & Hove Albion and gained interest from Chesterfield after a great season with Bognor Regis Town when he assisted a staggering 28 times from out wide, but an injury in the latter part of the season at Bognor prevented the move.

Arron initially burst onto the scene at Lewes as a 17-year-old in the Conference and went on to make 37 appearances scoring three goals over two spells. This was followed by a successful spell with Bognor Regis Town where he quickly became a fan favourite at the club and gained Football League interest.

In the 2015/16 season, Arron scored two goals in ten appearance for Kingstonian before joining league rivals Merstham where he played 24 times, scoring twice, helping Hayden Bird’s side to their best ever league finish of 11th place. Arron finished the season in style, too, scoring in the final match of the season in the 4-1 Surrey Senior Cup win over Goldaming Town at Woking’s Kingfield Stadium.
